ACCORDION SOFA

The accordion, also known as the concertina, is an instrument of breath, rhythm, and connection. Of European origin, it gained a Brazilian soul in the festivals of the northeastern interior. Present in the June nights, in the forró dance halls, and in the São João festivities, it is played with the whole body and moves like a sonic lung.​ It was in this setting that Everton grew up, surrounded by music as a rhythm of life and celebration. The Accordion Sofa is a tribute to the fluidity and flexibility of the instrument. Modular and versatile, it features a low base and a deep seat. Four independent modules can be freely rearranged. The inspiration lies in form and essence.​ The sofa's dimensions expand and contract like accordion bellows, creating different possibilities for use. Natural fabrics are combined with a free color palette that breaks with the predictability of beige, off-white, and gray.
